The Weaver is a variation of the Biblical narrative. It takes several story strands, one of them Biblical, and weaves them into one narrative with a common resolution. Seinfeld episodes often used this technique, flashing from one story to another that do not seem to have a connection until the end. I find the easiest way to write these sermons is to write each strand independent of the others then cut and paste them together and write the bridge sentences last.
